Elizabeth M. Butler
Elizabeth
McKinnon Butler, 91, of 3331 Baugh Street, died Sunday, August 22,
2010.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She married Robert H.
Butler September 26, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio and celebrated 58 years
of marriage until his death in 2001. Betty, Bob and their sons,
Bruce and Gary, moved to Raleigh in 1959. Betty became very active
in the community. She held various offices in the Starmount Garden
Club, New Hope Wilders Grove Exchange Club, Capital Quilters Guild
and found a church home at Millbrook United Methodist Church where
she was an active member for 51 years. She enjoyed participating in
events by baking, quilting, knitting and doing needlepoint.

United Methodist Church, 1712 East Millbrook Road, Raleigh, NC
27609. Burial, Pine Forest Memorial Gardens, Stadium Drive, Wake
Forest, NC 27587.
Surviving: sons, Bruce Butler (Sue) of Oklahoma City, OK, Gary
Butler (Deborah) of Raleigh; eight grandchildren; 18
great-grandchildren; sisters, Florence M. Lucht of Medina, OH,
Gladys M. Svoboda of Sagamore Hills, OH; brother-in-law, Donald
Butler (Ruth) of Forrest, IL.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
